What is a parser?

Parser is a custom code that reads your file and adopts it to the format Xero is expecting. We can implement all kinds of custom rules in parser code... like deducting commission fees from amounts, splitting amounts into multiple invoice line items, adding commission fees to the invoices... etc.

How often is EntryRocket going to process my files?

EntryRocket process files immediately. Whenever you send file to your dedicated @entryrocket.com email address EntryRocket will process it and save it to your Xero organization immediately after the processing is finished.

How many parsers do I need?

One parser is required for one document format. So, for example, if you have two different Excel files which you need imported into Xero, because data in those two files would be differently formatted, we'd need to create two different parsers to handle those files

What kind of files can you process?

We're successfully processed all kind of file types... like CSVs, Excel spreadsheets, XML, TXT and many other file formats. Send us whatever you have on your hands and we will analyze it to see if we can process it or not.

What kind of documents can you create in Xero?

​EntryRocket can create following documents in Xero: Invoices, Bills, Quotes, Manual Journals, Credit Notes and Bank Transactions. We can also create Payments for existing invoices.

How fast can I start using EntryRocket?

Setup usually takes 2-3 days, depending on how quickly we can get answers to few short questions from you. You will have a chance to see your data imported into our test Xero account before you approve it, so we can fine tune it to your liking before you start feeding invoices into your Xero.

What payment methods do you accept?

At the moment we accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover, JCB) and PayPal.
